Akashi to arrive in SL today

The Japanese Special Representative and Senior Diplomat Yasushi Akashi will arrive in Sri Lanka today (November 25) on a three-day official visit. He is scheduled to attend the opening of the Southern Highway as a special guest.

 

Mr. Akashi is also scheduled to meet with President Mahinda Rajapaksa and a group of Ministers as well the Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe.
