8 hour water cut today - Water Board

An 8 hour water cut will be enforced today (February 11) from 9am to 5pm in areas coming under water supply schemes of Matara, Mirissa, Malimbada, Devinuwara, Gandara, Kottegoda, Dikwella and Weligama, the Water Supply and Drainage Boards stated.
The cause for the suspension of the water supply to these areas is said to be due to power failure at Malimbada, Nadugala and Halla water treatment centers.
