VIDEO: Monk killed, six injured as van crashes into tree

One Buddhist monk died and another six were injured after a van veered off the road and crashed into a tree on the Monaragala-Thanamalwila main road in the 37th Mile Post area today.

The five injured Buddhist monks, who were passengers of the van, have been admitted to the Hambantota Hospital while the driver of the van is also said to be in critical condition.
