Two Russian Nationals drown while sea bathing

Two Russian nationals had drowned off the coast on Negombo while sea bathing today (August 19), the Negombo Police stated. The two victims had visited the beach with a group of tourists.
The two victims were a 54 year old man and a 28 year old woman while the bodies were taken to the Negombo hospital where the post mortem will be conducted.
The Negombo Police will conduct further investigations into the incident.
