Oil pipeline being repaired after bursting in two locations

The Petroleum Industries Ministry stated that the damaged oil pipeline between the Harbour and Kolonnawa which exploded in two locations last night (January 14) was currently being repaired.

 

The two areas in which the pipe had burst were reported as Igurukade junction in Thotalanga and Kambikotuwawatta.

 

The Ministry however stated that the pipeline was being restored to normalcy and was undergoing repairs.
