Two dead after three-wheel driver falls asleep

Two persons were killed and another injured after a three-wheeler collided with a bus in the Ranwala area on the Kandy-Colombo main road last night.
Police said that three persons, the driver and passengers of the three-wheeler, were admitted to hospital following the accident, which occurred at around 10pm yesterday, and two of them succumbed to injuries shortly after.
The deceased have been identified as two 21-year-olds from Dambagolla, Ratttota.
The accident was reportedly caused due to the three-wheel driver falling asleep while Kegalle Police have arrested the driver of the bus.
