Perahera may obstruct Colombo-Kandy road

Road from Wewaldeniya to Ranwala to Kegalle on Colombo-Kandy road may be obstructed from 7pm tomorrow (June 29) due to the annual Poson Perahera of the Wewaldeniya Viharaya, police said.
The pageant will take to the streets from the Wewaldeniya Viharaya and travel towards Ranwala on the Colombo-Kandy main road and from there towards the Kegalle Police Superintendent’s Office before returning to the temple.
Motorists traveling along the Colombo-Kandy main road are advised to use alternate routes in order to avoid inconveniences.
