Woman arrested with drug haul

A woman has been arrested for the possession of a large quantity of heroin in the Mattakkuliya area in Modara.
The suspect was arrested by a team of Kotahena Police officers who also took into custody a haul of 251 grams and 100 milligrams of heroin found in her possession.
She is scheduled to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
