Woman held for illegal possession of python, turtles and eagle

A woman has been arrested in the Kattankudy area for the illegal possession of a 10-foot-long python, 6 turtles and an eagle.

The woman was taken into custody along with the animals, following a joint operation carried out by the police and wildlife officers.

The woman was produced at court and released following a warning while the animals have been handed over to wildlife officers to be released into the wild.
