VIDEO: General Jagath Jayasuriya assumes duties as Chief of Defence Staff

General Jagath Jayasuriya assumed duties as the Chief of Defence staff a short while ago. He served as the Commander of the Sri Lankan Army before this appointment.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake assumed duties as the 20th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army in a ceremony held at Army Headquarters in Colombo yesterday(August 01).
