Two youths arrested with firearm

Two youths were arrested while transporting a firearm using a three-wheeler in the Bangalawa Junction area in Panwila, police said.
The suspects, including the three-wheeler driver, were nabbed by Panwila Police officers, who were searching vehicles at a checkpoint, after a 12-Bore gun and 4 bullets were found inside the vehicle.
The suspects, a 23-year-old and a 24-year-old from Panwila, are to be produced at the Theldeniya Magistrate’s Court today.
