PICTURES: Crash involving three vehicles in Nuwara Eliya

Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Nuwara Eliya to Badulla road, last night. One person has been admitted to the Nuwara Eliya Base hospital with serious wounds, police said.

The accident occurred after a trishaw, motorbike and a SUV travelling towards Nuwara Eliya had collided, according to police.

The victim has been identified as the motorcyclist who is a resident of Mipilimana, Nuwara Eliya.

The preliminary police inquires have found that negligence of the motorcyclist caused the accident.
