Cop attached to EC’s convoy dies in bike crash

A police officer attached to the Elections Commissioner’s security convoy was killed while another police officer was wounded when their motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the Wattegedara area in Maharagama this morning.
The two police officers were admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital following the collision, however the 28-year-old officer, who was riding the police bike, has succumbed to injuries.
