Navin Dissanayake assumes duties

Parliamentarian Navin Dissanayake assumed duties as Minister of Tourism and Sports, this morning.

While addressing the occasion, he said “Working as a team to regain the lost glory of Sri Lanka will be a key ingredient.  We all need to work together to assist Sri Lanka to earn the desired image. For that, we all have to work as a team. 

For an example, the US relay team has the best sprinters in the world but in the last few decades we witnessed some other teams with good team spirit had defeated the US. Even in 1996 at the Cricket World Cup, the talented teams were said to be South Africa and Australia. But Sri Lanka won the series, because of the team’s spirit.”
