Sajin further remanded again

UPFA Parliamentarian Sajin de Vass Gunawardena, who was arrested for allegedly misusing vehicles belonging to the President Secretariat Office, has been further remanded until June 24 by the Colombo Magistrate’s.

He was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court, when the case was taken up today.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) summoned Gunawardena to record a statement regarding the vehicles on May 11, where he was subsequently arrested.

 Gunawardena was also on bail in a separate case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for non-declaration of assets.
