Shashi Weerawansa arrives at FCID

Shashi Weerawansa, wife of former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, today arrived at the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) to give a statement.

Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said that she was summoned to give a statement regarding assets.

Meanwhile the Leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU), Udaya Gammanpila, was also summoned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today to record a statement.
