Drug kingpin Mohammed Siddique further remanded

 Drug kingpin Mohammed Siddique, had was arrested in Pakistan and later brought to Sri Lanka, was further remanded until October 16 by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court. 

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has informed the court that investigations regarding the suspect are being carried out under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

After taking into the consideration the facts submitted to the court when the case was taken up today, Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya ordered that the accused be further remanded until October 16.
