Galle Road blocked due to protest

The Galle Road is currently blocked near the US Embassy in Kollupitiya due to a protest. Heavy traffic reported and motorists are advised to use alternate routes.

The protest, organized by the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP), is against alleged genocide in Syria and also demands the removal of sanctions imposed on Cuba.
