Mahinda Rajapaksa leaves for Thailand

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for Thailand this morning, his first overseas visit since the defeat at the Presidential Election on January 08, 2015. 

He is expected to participate in religious ceremonies at several Buddhist Temples in Thailand before returning to the country on April 26. 

Rajapaksa is accompanied by former External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris.
