Minister Ranatunga dismisses allegations

Minister Arjuna Ranatunga on Sunday (19) stressed that legal action will be taken against the trade union leaders for making false allegations against him.


The observation was made while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo today.


The Minister added that letter of demands have already been sent for them demanding Rs.500 million each as damages for allegedly making defamatory remarks about him.


Ranatunga also dismissed allegations against him that a port workshop was used to manufacture furniture for his private use.
