Rohitha Abeygunawardena injured during Joint Opposition protest

UPFA MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena has been hospitalized following an accident during the protest organized by the Joint Opposition at Colombo Fort a short while ago. Abeygunawardena had attempted to push a police barricade blocking the road and injured himself, the Ada Derana reporter confirmed.

 

The protest was organized by the Joint Opposition against the Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran demanding that he steps down from the post.
