Man killed in accident involving vehicle belonging to wife of Min. Range Bandara

A 49-year-old man has been killed in Anamaduwa after he was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle belonging to the wife of Minister Palitha Range Bandara, Ada Derana reporter said.


The accident occurred at around 8.00 pm this evening (24) on Kotawehera - Anamaduwa road.


An official said that the driver of Minister Palitha Range Bandara and his son has been arrested following the accident.


The remains of the deceased are kept at the Anamaduwa hospital pending an autopsy.
