Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon requests back bench at CPC

A request has been made by former Provincial Council Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon to grant him a back bench at the Central Provincial Council, it was reported.


The request was made through a letter to the Chairman of the Central Provincial Council today.


Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon resigned from his portfolio as Central Province Minister of Industries due to the removal of his father from the post of SLFP Dambulla Organiser on April 25.


Later, Thilina Bandara Tennakoon was appointed to the Ministerial portfolios left vacant subsequent to the resignation of Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon.


The next sitting of the Central Provincial Council will be held on 9 May.
