We will welcome all SLFP defectors – Dayasiri Jayasekara

Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that the UPFA will welcome any members of the SLFP who defect from the party, to stage a united front to triumph over all other parties at any upcoming election. 

He further stated that there have been several past instances where SLFP party members rejoined the party to bolster the party strength. 

Speaking to the media at an event in Galle, Minister Jaysekara also stated that the UPFA will stage a strong front at the inpending Provincial Council elections.
