Judiciary should be devoid of political prejudice – Tissa Attanayake

Former Secretary of the United National Party Tissa Attanayake stated that the laws of Sri Lanka should not be manipulated in order to gain political favour.
 
He further stated that the judiciary should be devoid of political bias and pass fair and just verdicts to all who appear before them. 
  
Tissa Attanayake expressed these sentiments following his visit to Kandy where he met with the Malwatte chief prelates.
