Navy teams assist flood victims...

The Sri Lanka Navy swiftly mobilized04 relief teams to Bulathsinhala, Baduraliya, Lathpandura and Kalawana areas to extend flood relief to affected communities on June 04, 2023, in the wake of inclement weather prevailing in several areas in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces

As a result, the Navy relief teams took action this morning (05) to assist a group of school children who were stranded in the Lathpandura area of Baduraliya, Kalutara district, due to flash floods. Thus, the Navy provided a boat service to transport the students who were scheduled to sit for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination. Furthermore, the Navy relief teams also worked to alleviate the hardships faced by the affected communities.
