Public cautioned as Nilwala, Gin and Kalu water levels rise

The Disaster Management Center (DMC) says that the water levels of the Nilwala River, Gin River and Kalu River are rising rapidly, owing to the prevailing inclement weather conditions in the Western and Southern provinces. 

People living downstream to these rivers are advised to be vigilant in this regard.
