Akuressa overrun by floods

A section of the Akurussa city was flooded due to the overflow of the Nilawala River caused by heavy rains in the area. 

The area of Panadugama near the Akuressa-Pitabedda main road was completely overrun making travel towards Dehigaspe, Welihena, Makandura, Thalahagama, Porathota and Godapitiya near impossible. 

Meanwhile the Akuressa-Kumburupitiya road has also been flooded.
