One of the prison inmates who escaped from Baddegama Court rearrested

One of the 6 detainees who escaped from the Baddegama Magistrate’s Court was re-arrested at Ellakanda area in Elpitiya, says Police Media Spokesperson.

Six detainees who were brought to the Baddegama Magistrate’s Court had escaped from custody yesterday (28), according to the Prisons Department.

The escapees are inmates of the Galle Prison who were transported to the court by prison guards to be produced before the courts for pending cases.
