The Government Analyst’s report has revealed that no poisonous substance or anything else has been mixed into the milk packets that were distributed at the ‘Jana Balaya Colombata’ rally organized by the Joint Opposition, says Deputy Minister Nalin Bandara.

He stated this addressing the media in Badulla today (08).

The Joint Opposition and SLPP had filed a complaint at the Colombo Fort police regarding the incident and had submitted several milk packets claimed to have been distributed at the rally.

Subsequently, the Government Analyst’s report has revealed that there had not been any poisonous substance to these milk packets, Deputy Minister Nalin Bandara stated.

He further claimed that this is merely an attempt to conceal the failure of Joint Opposition’s rally held on September 5.
