Flights between Sri Lanka and Kuwait temporarily suspended

SriLankan Airlines has suspended its flights between Sri Lanka and Kuwait in keeping with the decision by the Kuwaiti Directorate of Civil Aviation.
Accordingly, flights between the two countries from the 6th to 12th of March stated SriLankan Airlines.
The Directorate General of Kuwaiti Civil Aviation has issued a statement announcing that flights to and from Kuwait for seven countries - India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt - will be halted temporarily owing to COVID-19 concerns.
The suspension was in effect from March 06 for a time period of a week.
Kuwait also banned the entry of anyone who has been in the aforesaid seven countries during the last two weeks.
