Seetha Arambepola resigns as Western Province governor

Dr. Seetha Arambepola has resigned from her post as the governor of Western Province.

The resignation comes as she has been named as a member of the national list of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).

Dr. Arambepola was sworn in as the Governor of the Western Province before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on November 21, 2019.
