New Secretary for Ministry of Agriculture

The serving Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture Rohana Pushpakumara has resigned from his position.
The reason behind his resignation is a personal matter, Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage said, speaking to the Media in Nawalapitiya.
Accordingly, steps are being taken to appoint the current Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Wayamba, Minister further said.
