Eid Al-Adha to be celebrated on July 21

The Colombo Grand Mosque reported that the new moon of Dhul Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar, had not been sighted this evening (10).

Accordingly, Eid Al-Adha (Haj festival) will be celebrated on July 21.

Dul Hijjah is the month during which the Hajj pilgrimage takes place and is the last month of the Islamic calendar.
