Accepting applications for university admission to begin next week

The government plans to enroll a total of 45,000 students in state universities for the academic year 2022/23, the University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunge says.
Accordingly, applications for university admissions will be accepted from September 14.
Prof. Amaratunge said handbooks containing the applications are available at authorized bookshops for purchase.
