Collision involving three vehicles in Nittambuwa leaves at least 22 injured

At least 22 people were left injured after a collision involving a passenger bus, a container truck, and a fuel bowser in Nittambuwa.

According to police, the accident took place in the Kajugama area on the Colobmo-Kandy main road, and the injured are currently receiving treatment at Wathupitiwala Hospital.

The bus, which was en route from Ampara to Colombo, and the container truck had collided head-on.

Soon after, a container truck, heading towards Colombo, had rear-ended the bus.

The injured people have been admitted to the Wathupitiwala Base Hospital and 4 of them are reportedly in critical condition.
