Democratic National Alliance (DNA) parliamentarians Vijitha Herath, Ajith Kumara and Provincial Councillor Naleen Hewage are scheduled to be produced before the Galle Magistrate’s court today (August 16).

The three members of the DNA were arrested by Police following the protest in Galleon August 12 demanding the release of Sarath Fonseka. Members of the Democratic National Alliance claim that when the MPs went to the police to lodge a complaint regarding the incident MPs Vijith Herath, Ajith Kumara and PC member Naleen Hewage had been arrested.
