August 25, 2010   09:24 pm

Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) leader Rauff Hakeem has reportedly met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the President’s House in Kandy this evening (Aug. 25). They have had a discussion lasting for more than an hour, sources say.

However, details of what were discussed are not known yet. Mr. Hakeem was also among the delegation from the opposition in Parliament which met President Rajapaksa along with Ranil Wickremesinghe recently at Temple Trees. The discussions at that meeting had been regarding constitutional reforms.
