Over 1,800 naval personnel promoted in view of Navy’s 73rd anniversary

Coinciding with the 73rd anniversary of Sri Lanka Navy, a total of 1,877 naval personnel have been promoted and advanced to their next higher ranks and rates with effect from today (Dec.09).
The promotions were made on the recommendation of navy commander, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.
