Illegal assets worth over Rs. 100 mn seized during operation ‘Yukthiya’

The Illegal Assets and Properties Investigation Division of Sri Lanka Police has so far seized assets and land valued at Rs. 45 million and luxury vehicles valued at Rs. 61 million belonging to those engaged in illegal activities during the ongoing operation ‘Yukthiya’, says the Acting IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon.
The seized vehicles are as follows;
TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO worth Rs. 33 mn
TOYOTA KDH worth Rs. 13 mn
TOYOTA CHR worth Rs. 7.6 mn
TOYOTA AQUA worth Rs. 6.4 mn
BAJAJ three-wheeler worth Rs. 1 mn
The confiscated lands include;
7.5 perches land in Thalagala worth Rs. 1.5 mn
05 perches land in Malabe worth Rs. 4.5 mn
12.5 perches land with two-story house in Ja-Ela worth Rs. 24 mn
Land located in Niwandana-South, Ja-Ela worth Rs. 15 mn
