One person killed in shooting in Colombo

A shooting incident has been reported near the “Randiya Uyana” housing scheme in Mattakkuliya this evening (15).
A 42-year-old male who was injured in the shooting was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital and had later succumbed to injuries, police said.
Police said that the shooting was carried out by two individuals who had arrived in a three-wheeler at around 8.00 p.m. and that they had fled the scene afterwards.
