Four persons critically injured in car-train collision

Four persons have been admitted to the Ragama Hospital with serious injuries after a car collided with a train at the Kudahakapola level crossing.

Accordingly, the four persons, identified as a couple, a mother and her daughter, were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a fuel tank wagon train plying towards Katunyake.

The group, identified as residents of Gampaha, is believed to have been travelling back home after attending a wedding.
