76th Independence Day celebrations begin at Galle Face

Sri Lanka’s 76th National Independence Day celebrations have kicked off at the Galle Face Green in Colombo on Sunday (04).
The official ceremony commenced with the arrival of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.
The Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, is the chief guest of the Independence Day celebrations which is being held under the theme - ‘Let’s build a new country’.
