Road opposite Fort Railway Station blocked due to protest

The road in front of the Colombo Fort Railway Station has been blocked for traffic due to a protest march, Ada Derana reporter said.

The protest march has been organized by the teacher-principal trade unions.

Accordingly, the lanes towards Pettah have been blocked for traffic movement causing severe traffic congestion in the area, he said.

UPDATE: Meanwhile, the Lotus Road in Colombo Fort has also been blocked for traffic owing to the protest march by teacher-principal trade unions, Ada Derana reporter said.
