Bomb scare at Kandy Court complex

A tense situation has arisen at the Kandy Court complex this morning (July 02), Ada Derana reporter said.
Accordingly, the bomb disposal unit of Sri Lanka Army together with Sri Lanka Police, have commenced a special security operation within the court premises.
Meanwhile, the court proceedings have been temporarily halted and the people have been removed from the court complex, according to Ada Derana reporter.
UPDATE: All the cases that were scheduled to be heard and the delivering of verdicts fixed for today (02) at the Kandy Court complex have been postponed until July 16, 2024.
