18-hour water cut in several areas

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) announced that an 18-hour water cut will be imposed from 9.00 p.m. today (4) in several areas due to urgent repairs on a transmission pipeline.
Accordingly, the Water Board said that the water supply to Kolonnawa Urban Council and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas and the Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha area will be interrupted from 9.00 p.m. today to 3.00 p.m. tomorrow (05).
The water supply to the aforementioned areas is being temporarily suspended due to urgent repairs on a leak in the transmission pipeline from the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, according to the NWS&DB.
