Police bolster security at SLFP Headquarters

Police have increased security near the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Headquarters located on Darley Road in Colombo. 

The heightened security measures follow a request from the party’s General Secretary, Dayasiri Jayasekara, for SLFP members to gather at the headquarters this morning (05). 

Sources indicate that the decision was based on concerns about the potential disturbances at the location.
