Man murders wife over family dispute

A woman has been stabbed to death with a sharp weapon due to a family dispute in the Ariyalai area of the Jaffna police division.
The deceased woman is a 29-year-old resident of Puthukkudiyiruppu.
The police investigations have revealed that the murder was committed last evening (06) over a family dispute involving the deceased and her husband from her second marriage.
The 34-year-old suspect who committed the murder has been arrested and the Jaffna Police are conducting further investigations related to the incident.
