Youth arrested trying to sell rare conch shell in Marawila

During a raid conducted by the Special Task Force in Marawila, a 24-year-old youth has been arrested for attempting to sell a rare conch shell.

The rare conch shell, weighing 01kg and 105g, and the arrested suspect have been handed over to Karuwalagaswewa Wildlife Office for onward action.
