5kg of ‘Ice’ drugs found concealed inside computer accessories

Sri Lanka Police said that five (05) kilograms of ‘ICE’ drugs (crystal methamphetamine) were seized from a container yard in Katunayaka.
The drugs were reportedly found concealed inside 63 computer accessories imported into the country.
The drug haul was seized during a joint operation by Special Task Force (STF) and Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) officers.
The consignment of drugs is suspected to have been sent by the notorious drug trafficker known as ‘Dubai Nipuna’.
